On January 21st, a total of ₦12 million was paid to Global Lateef Selection Enterprise.
They promise an express entry Canadian visa.
Everything sounded professional and convincing.
They were even reassured with a “guarantee”—that if anything didn’t go as planned, they would get a refund. That alone gave them confidence. They felt safe.
The company had a physical office at Oke Ira Nla, Ajah Central Mosque, Lagos. Before they made any payment, they went to the office in lagos to check to be sure they were real to be sure it wasn’t just an online deal.
After payment, they were told they’ll go for their bio metrics the following week but Weeks passed
No updates.
No calls.
No emails.
Nothing.
At first, they thought maybe it was just delays. You know how these processes can be. But then things started to feel off.
They tried reaching out—no response.
They went back to the office in Lagos… and it was closed.
Website was also shut down
No signs. No staff. Nothing.
₦12 million gone Just like that.
Meanwhile we heard over 50 people fell victim and over ₦100m was paid in total

Over the last 2 years, a dangerous and divisive narrative has spread across Nigeria, a narrative of religious persecution, of Nigerian Christians being massacred by “Islamic jihadists” and “ISIS terrorists” for their faith in a “Christian genocide”, a narrative which did not originate in Nigeria, but in Washington DC. They tried again and they failed again. No, I’m not talking about the decades of repeatedly failed genocidal attempts to wipe out the Palestinians, but rather the ludicrous and pathetic attempts by FSV Mainz 05 to yet again appeal against their loss of my case in the German courts only to lose again.
Today, the German courts dismissed the latest appeal from FSV Mainz 05 which affirms the earlier judgment ensuring justice was served with my resounding victory.
Time for the deluded decision makers at FSV Mainz 05 to give it a rest and pay up the remainder of my contract. Worthy causes supporting the children of Gaza await. That should give some solace to the executive team at FSV Mainz 05.

She is still a nursing student at Ezzy college of nursing, Enugu.
She was suspended by her school.
