@hobby_robotics Yes! Dedicating time on the calendar is always a challenge, but if it's not slotted somewhere in the schedule, it's not happening.

Question for #TRBAM veterans: how do you find time to act on everything you've learned or ideas/goals you identified during the meeting? Each year I'm energized and excited by the opportunities and then day-to-day happens and capacity and excitement fades... until next year.

@skuciemba Great advice! I saw a lot of enthusiasm and heard a lot of great ideas, but prioritizing a couple to act on is a great idea.

@umdnik Always a huge challenge that begins with setting realistic goals - a volunteer committee that meets a few times/year and produces one webinar or white paper is still more rewarding than one that plans 10 products but produces none of them…

So far I've attended 2 #TRBAM workshops, 4 committee meetings, and a couple of sessions - all interesting and useful. But subcommittee meetings today are the most exciting for me: focused, actionable, open, and accessible to all.

#TRBAM Sunday workshops are kicking off. I would highly recommend a workshop on #Transportation #Data Exchanges at 101 Convention Center. We are exploring federal, state, and private sector views and context around these exchanges.

LBS #privacy conversation at #TransportationCampDC shows the complexity of the topic. Consumer choice, legislation and regulation, impact of market duopoly, value and current business models, monetization, etc.

@MDSHA Administrator, Tim Smith, covers key components of #TSMO approach in Maryland. He calls out partnerships, such as the one with the @CATT_Lab, as the key to success. #ITSMD

One major benefit of virtual conferences is that live demos and presentations with screenshots tend to be much easier to see on my own screen than in a giant room with a projector and a small projection screen.
