My friend in the UK told me she would soon be coming to Nigeria for her wedding. After we finished talking, I decided to message her boyfriend, the same guy who sponsored her trip to the UK and still sends her money almost every week. I said: “Bros, congratulations sir. I’m really happy for you. My friend just told me about your upcoming wedding. How are the preparations going? If you need any assistance, let me know sir.” Omorh this man replied immediately: “Which wedding? With who?” I was confused. I quickly screenshot my conversation with his girl and sent it to him. Since then, this babe has given me over 200 missed calls 😭😭 I didn’t even know she was planning to marry another man ooooh.

This woman is now desperately seeking reconciliation with her estranged husband in Germany, pleading with him to reunite and rebuild their marriage after their divorce. In a video currently making rounds on the internet, the woman can be heard emotionally begging her husband to take her back. She admits that her decision to file for divorce did not go as planned, and she now faces the risk of deportation. According to her, shortly after arriving in Germany, she was introduced to a women's group. Since joining the group, her life has taken a drastic turn. Under their influence, she filed for divorce, believing it would empower her and open new opportunities. However, the move has completely backfired. She is now regretting her actions and publicly pleading for forgiveness. In the emotional clip, she tells her husband that she has realized her mistake and wants them to come back together as a family. She emphasized that reconciliation is her only hope of securing her stay in Germany and avoiding deportation. The video has sparked reactions online, with many people cr¡t¡c¡zing her for listening to the women's group. Would You Take Her Back? 😀

@yabaleftonline Desmond Elliot struggled to be smart by half, trying to fight those he’s pledging loyalty to. Which other politician is behind Barakat & behind the alleged intimidation other than the former speaker Gbajami?

There were clear cases of intimidation across different polling units, and my supporters were denied access to accreditation — let alone voting. This is not democracy. #apcprimaries

I listen when they say former Vice President Atiku said he has never failed the primaries before. I hope this will be the first time he fails the primaries. That is not the issue, the issue is that every time he has passed the primaries, he has not won the election. - Amaechi

@benmurraybruce @MobilePunch Rather than pay your debt, you keep jumping from one party to another, from one government to another to manipulate your way out of a protracted debt.

Dear Punch Newspaper @MobilePunch, This report is fallacious. I was surprised to see it on your platform. It prompted me to call the Chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, to find out why you would report such a state of affairs. I have neither withdrawn nor been disqualified. These are very fluid times, and it would be in the best interest of journalistic excellence to exercise caution and verification, rather than utilise speed in your reportage. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

@AishaYesufu @Ajatz02 Isn’t this how they trapped Obi? Knowing he can’t win with a divided opposition as Atiku camp has their own candidate. Now after 2027, if he didn’t win, they’ll tell him agreement is agreement, support a northern candidate, you can’t contest again.

@SodiqTade @theolisa_ They’re using Obi who’s destroying his presidency chances to build their own presidency chances. Anyone saying a divided opposition with Obi & Atiku in different parties can defeat Tinubu is deceiving you! After 2027, if Obi didn’t win he’ll be forced to support a northerner 2031

Kwankwaso is playing a long term politics with Obi. Dickson is building his party for 2031 hoping to make it to the ballot as a VP candidate. Only one man isn't ready to play the long game. He is even willing to use one year as President at the detriment of his region - Obi. Smh

@PeterObi Finding a new platform should be a collective decision of you, Atiku & other ADC influential leaders not just you or two persons factionalizing the coalition, it weakens it & increases the opposition chances. You can’t win this alone, you need coalition with Atiku & others.

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
