Masih membahas terkait metro di China Foto ini merupakan Stasiun Caojiawan di Chongqing tahun 2015. dulu sempat ini viral karena dianggap "stasiun hantu". Keluar pintu stasiun isinya cuma semak belukar. Banyak yang ngetawain dan bilang ini proyek infrastruktur yang sia-sia, termasuk proyek-proyek ghost town nya China. Plot twist-nya dalam 7 tahun, area "hutan" itu berubah total jadi distrik metropolitan yang padat. ini memang grand design pemerintah China lewat konsep Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) yang ekstrem. Logikanya kalau di banyak negara nunggu macet dulu baru bangun MRT, mereka bangun stasiunnya duluan di tanah murah antah berantah. Begitu stasiun jadi, valuasi tanah di sekitarnya auto-meroket. Pemerintah jual hak guna tanah yang udah mahal itu ke developer buat balikin modal infrastrukturnya, dan warga otomatis pindah ke sana karena akses transportasinya udah siap. Crazy planning.
