if you live in the lands of kuffar and can't avoid major sins and waging war with Allah then hijrah is even more obligatory upon you. you will not have an excuse on the day of judgement because you willingly stayed in a place that you can't practice your religion properly

@umm_elegance say*. whoever fears Allah, Allah will find a way out for him and provide for him from places he could never imagine. Allah didn't abandon ibrahim and his family when they made hijrah. Allah didn't abandon the prophet ﷺ and muhajirin when they made hijrah.

@umm_elegance Allah never abandons those who rely upon him. whatever you give up for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it with something better. so why have bad thoughts of Allah? there's a reason so many ayat command us to have sabr and tawakkul , but many of us don't apply them

@lookforurself i also love how in the very next two ayaat, Allah reassures the believers who have a valid reason and reminds them to have hope. there are so many ayaat where Allah promises to provide for them in abundance if they emigrate but sadly only a few of us have that level of tawakkul

@moonlighba3e this reminds me of my first time at umrah when i met this little girl and was sat next to her. she suddenly grabbed my hand and used it to wipe her tears bc she was being told off. she had a disability too and i gave her a hug after. i tear up every time i think of her, bless her

i was waiting for my bus when a little boy grabbed my hand & played with it. his mom kept apologizing, saying “i’m sorry, my son is sick” because he was disabled. it made me want to cry. something so innocent shouldn’t be apologized for. i love children so much. 💟
