Sitting here ready to spend as much as I need to to expedite the Windows EV signing process (waited 2 months already), just getting bounced around different call centres, absurd.

@LoveChickenParm the app is still in beta, official tutorials will be made for the version 1.0 release, until then if you look on youtube you can find a livestream demo, there is also a help panel (? icon) in the app, and people in the discord you can ask

There are many reasons, the basic things I would say are: TVpaint does not have vectors, CSP is really not made for animation, its an illustration program with animation features retrofitted to it, and neither has the robust compositing workflow you get from flash-like symbols.

Seems like app behaviour can even differ quite a lot between one iPad generation, let alone all the other variants, to say nothing of Android variations... and its much harder to get crash/log data from tablet testers, so I probably need to buy a lot of tablets to test on...

@DonutVoid_ Umoupen files don't really work like this, unlike clip its made for animation, you would just make 10 layers in a folder and sync them

I recorded something really quick to show you what I mean. I used an auto action to make the folder with layers for me. Then I used another auto action to make 10 of those on 2s. I can navigate to a specific layer I want to work on in each folder
It could work differently on Umoupen or maybe it is easy to navigate between each layer in a frame

Umoupen has top-tier storyboarding, you can organize and sequence multiple shots each with their own timeline, split shots, loop them, add custom note categories, use a selected note for subtitles, and view them all in a thumbnail grid you can draw into directly and export as pdf

@umoupen Does Umoupen have an Autoaction function and a search layer function? I usually create multiple sets of named layers per frame to have them ready to go and I can easily navigate between them
