i've been studying mandarin (chinese) for a while now, and recently got frustrated with pleco, anki, skritter, etc... so i built an app/site (it's a pwa so you can install and download it to your phone, ipad, android, etc...) that fits how i study. i essentially started by wanting some graded readers, a simple flashcard system, and a flashcard system for iterating through writing. the writing was big for me because i didn't need fluff, just a simple jump to a character, loop through stroke animation, etc.. so today i'm releasing it for others to use. you can find it at mandarinstack.com design by claude so typical ai slop design, but the functionality works pretty great!

Gue baru tau ada bunga yang punya "mode transparan" pas kena ujan. Namanya Diphylleia grayi atau Skeleton Flower. Beneran berubah jadi kayak kaca kristal, bukan editan CGI atau sihir. Visualnya magical banget, asli. Bunga ini aslinya warna putih biasa, tapi sel kelopaknya unik banget. Pas kena air, struktur selnya bikin cahaya nggak mantul, malah jadi tembus pandang. Pas udah kering? Ya balik putih lagi. Cuma ada di Jepang, China, sama US. Kayak konsep stealth tapi versi tanaman.
