Thank you. You have no idea how many UNC Alumni have private messaged me about this in the last 48 hours, wondering why their beloved school would continue to tout such a divisive ideology, like clockwork every June 1 when ‘Pride Month’ begins, when a vast majority of their supporters do not wish to see this kind of messaging on the Heels’ sports account, or anywhere else, for that matter. Which gives me hope, in all honesty, that our efforts are paying dividends and making a difference, and people like you (and me!) wont’ abandon our beloved TAR HEELS because of this.

@amadden0408 Agreed, but I'd be ok with a 2 division 16 team ACC. 8 old ACC in 1, 8 old Big East in the other. Football - 1 rival and 1 rotating game vs the other side each year, and the winners in the ACCCG. Hoops - home/away in your division, one game against each of the other division.

Know if won’t happen but I wish all the power conferences would go back to original membership.
ACC would be a drivable conference with 9 teams and you play everyone twice.

Damn - we don't play Clemson at all this year. The 8 old line ACC teams should play every year, imo. And let the old big east teams do the same.

I think too often they just read about the events of decade surrounding WWII in history books. Hearing directly from the men who served as they tell their story is just so important. End/

UNC source tells me it was South Carolina’s choice to cancel.
Largely a result of SEC and ACC move to a nine-game conference schedule, resulting in changes to future nonconference schedules like this.
