76ers head coach Nick Nurse is away from the team to attend the funeral services for his brother, Steve, who died unexpectedly last week, per The Inquirer and The Athletic. Nurse left New York following Philly’s Game 1 loss to the Knicks Monday night to travel to Ankeny, Iowa, for the services and expects to rejoin the Sixers in New York later on Tuesday.
