@ProgtorWho @gerrykissell I never liked him, and I can’t understand why so many people fawn over him. He’s done more damage to series than I could ever have imagined. I knew we were doomed the moment that wheelie bin burped.

@gerrykissell I never liked him to begin with. His episodes were always my least favourites out of each season during RTD1. But with RTD2 he’s sunk to a new low. Truly dreadful writing, massive ego, blames the fans/viewers for not enjoying his new version of the show. What a hack

@ProgtorWho Trouble is RTD can’t decide whether it’s a soap or whether it’s a fairy tale, and DW shouldn’t be shoehorned into either category.

When ROSE aired 21 years ago today, I remember thinking ‘hmm I’m not sure about this. The Doctor doesn’t dress or sound like The Doctor I know & love The writing is a bit strange’. It wasn’t until ep 3 that I felt like I was watching ‘proper’ WHO again. I wonder why…? #DoctorWho

45 years ago today, arguably the greatest Doctor of all took his final bow in the funereal Logopolis. Tom Baker had an incredible impact on the show, his legacy “indomitable”. But as the great man himself says, he might have left Doctor Who, but the Doctor never left him.

1. A rhyme from childhood has popped into my head. I’m sure I learned it in school. I can even remember the tune it goes to. No-one else I’ve spoken to has heard of it. As an adult, the words come across as quite sinister as opposed to twee… It goes:
