When Tim Pappa, a former FBI profiler, told me he was creating behaviorally-based content, I was immediately intrigued. Then he showed me videos he made with #RachelMorin's family; I was captivated. The tears didn't stop for a good while. Read more ⤵️uncovered.com/authentic-cont…

🔎ADVOCATES - We need your help! 🚨 Friday, December 1st will mark 29 years since Melissa Ann Witt was abducted from a Bowling World parking lot in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Six weeks later her body would be found in the Ozark National Forrest. She was found nude, and her killer stole her beloved Mickey Mouse watch with a brown band. In conjunction with the 29th anniversary of Melissa Witt's murder, the nonprofit All the Lost Girls (@AllLostGirls), in partnership with the Who Killed Melissa Witt Investigative Team are offering a $29,000 reward for any of the following critical pieces of information: Information that leads to Melissa Witt's Mickey Mouse watch and the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for her kidnapping and murder. Information that can help us identify the following individuals. (Thanks to a reliable tip, we are searching for the following individuals who were seen in the Bowling World parking lot on the evening of December 1, 1994.) 1. Male, short stature, mustache, glasses, wearing a blue shirt, jeans, brown boots, white (or light colored) baseball cap. This man was seen standing outside of Bowling World on the sidewalk smoking. It is very likely that he heard and/or saw the very loud altercation between Melissa Witt and her abductor. 2. A couple with a young boy (the child was approximately between the ages of 8 and 10-years-old) that walked across the parking lot and entered Bowling World. The woman, reported as "short" with blonde "fluffy" hair, was wearing a tan/light colored sweater with stripes. The husband/male companion was reported to be taller than his wife/female companion. If you have any information about these individuals please contact our confidential tip line at 1-800-440-1922 or email us confidentially at whokilledmissywitt@gmail.com. @BrianEntin @BanfieldonNN @NewsNation @producerpaige_

On June 28, 2022, Luke Benoit, a husband and father of four, went missing in Portsmouth, RI. Several days after Luke’s disappearance, I searched for him alongside his coworkers, friends and wife Stephanie. After hours in the sweltering heat, the sun went down, it started to downpour and we had to call off the search. I don’t think I’ll ever forget Stephanie’s reaction when she realized we had to call it quits without finding him. We created a flyer and blasted Luke across @UnsolvedRI. Community members jumped to carry out additional volunteer foot, boat and drone searches. Stephanie and Luke’s sister created a FB group dedicated to finding him. I looped in our friends at @uncovered and they made him a case page to keep everything organized in one place. I’ll link that below. Stephanie was suddenly a single mom of four young kids, so someone made a GFM and everyone chipped in what they could, hoping Luke would be found soon. He wasn’t. Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months and, while work continues behind the scenes, Luke still hasn’t been found, 17 months after he was last seen. A few months ago, I looped in a more senior PI, a former officer, to help me review every single piece of the case again. We went to visit with Stephanie at home and, while going through everything together, her curious kids kept trying to overhear details. Of course they did — they knew we were there about their missing dad. At one point, a tiny black kitten walked over to me. Luke’s namesake — with the same dark hair and eyes — took the opportunity to introduce his new pet. The whole time, he kept eyes on his strong, amazing mom. I saw a sweet boy who had to grow up way before he should and told him, “You’re doing an awesome job.” I didn’t just mean how he cared for his kitten. He looked so serious when he nodded back. He knew. Some cases catch your interest because of the puzzle. Some, because of the people. Luke’s is one of the latter for me. All I hope for is the day we can knock on Stephanie’s door and tell her he’s been found. All I want is for their four kids to know what happened to their dad. I won’t let that little boy grow up to go looking for answers on his own. No child should have to wonder what happened to their parent. Anyway, tonight I saw this status Stephanie shared and had an idea. I’d like to see our community remind this family they’re not alone or forgotten, and show those kids Christmas magic still exists. If anyone would be willing to support, please let me know. I hate asking folks to donate more so soon after the Thanksgiving dinner drive, but I’d love to get something together for Stephanie to be able to give her babies the best Christmas. If you’re interested in helping, let me know and I’ll set something up.

After last night's malaise, I slept and rebounded all morning... With that, today I have added the 6000th person to the map... He was a 50-70 year old white male, found in a suitcase in Yonkers, NY on 10/2/2008. He is only known now as UP16229. 6000 is NOT an accomplishment. I am only going to post the clothing he was found in, although there is a post-mortem image on the #NamUs link: namus.gov/UnidentifiedPe… #SolveColdCases #GiveThemBackTheirNames
