Such a cruel and torturous way to die. Pesticides do this to all these small and helpless animals. There are better ways to "get rid" of "unwanted" critters in your garden - not like this, not through making them live through hell until they eventually die of dehydration

This is a pregnant wild jumping spider with DKS, Dyskinetic Syndrome. She will most likely not survive. This is what happens with the use of pesticides. Her nervous system is misfiring, leading to uncontrollable movements and confusion. She cannot stay upright, only able to lay on her back. She cannot use her mouth parts correctly. In the wild, she would be dead by the end of the day. She has a small chance of recovery, I’ve misted her to help remove the pesticides and given her a 1:4 sugar water mixture to hydrate her and help her regain her strength. Now all i can do is let her rest and hope. Please opt for non pesticide solutions. The poison doesn’t just get rid of “pests”, it kills our spiders and pollinators. It’s killing our world.

@yeenteeeth It's entirely possible lol, people have made anthro insects tons of times before. Also, insects make up about 80 percent of all animals on earth, there's tons of species to choose from if you want to make an insect sona, you aren't restricted.

@furryfoxy3579 I'd suggest focusing on any key features and shapes they have! Rosy maple moths are pretty round bodies, fluffy thoraxes, large eyes, furry legs etc. The females have thinner antenna and the males have ones that look more like feathers.

Some insects also show a lot of sexual dimorphism. There's moths where the female is wingless, for example, and where the male is winged and they look like two different species. Some bees also show variation between males and females. There's so much design potential!!

Of course, I don't care if people play around with their bug sonas gender and so might have an oc with features that don't align with their identity, for example. Just putting it out there because these traits aren't found in every member of a species.

Guys, I'm not against bee or moth sonas, please don't take it the wrong way. I put "generic stereotypical features that don't resemble any specific species" for a reason, my issue lies with the lack of diversity among insect sonas.
