Hey Christian ladies, you cannot marry a Muslim. No matter how cute, romantic, or “intentional” he seems, you cannot. He is an unbeliever. There is a prayer Muslims recite five times daily from Surah al-Fātiḥah, the opening chapter of the Qur’an. It says: “Guide us to the straight path — The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, Not of those who have incurred Your wrath,Nor of those who have gone astray.” (Qur’an 1:6–7) Classical Islamic interpretation commonly identifies those who incurred wrath as Jews and those who went astray as Christians. Whenever your Muslim husband prays, this is part of what he is reciting. You’re the one who has incurred God’s wrath. The Qur’an also says: “Indeed, those who disbelieve among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the Fire of Hell… They are the worst of creatures.” (Qur’an 98:6) Surah 9:29 states: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day… among the People of the Scripture, until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.” The command is to fight you. So, your Muslim husband can kill your church people according to Islam. Finally, the One who died to give you new birth is not regarded as God in Islam. His crucifixion and divinity are denied. If Christ is not Lord, then the foundation of your faith is rejected within that belief system. Are you willing to enter a covenant where your spiritual head does not confess Christ? Are you prepared for the theological and practical implications of that difference, including views on authority, family structure, and possibly polygamy? Scripture says, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers.” Follow the Bible. Choose well. Marry right. Muslim men are not bound to love their wives. They are even commanded to beat them. Choose a Christian husband. God be with you, sis.

@ReasonBound @xavierjp__ Wow. You just said, if you don’t tolerate unsolicited physical touch, u are allowed to be punished. So if a woman blocks SA, her boss can punish her. I already told you, companies can mandate practices, but can not force you to give up your bodily autonomy for career advancement

@undefeated_marc @xavierjp__ No no no no no, they’re not entitled to no repercussions. I already told you companies are within their rights to mandate employee conduct and business practices such as the common greeting of shaking hands. You don’t like it, you don’t have to work there.

@ReasonBound @xavierjp__ Nothing to do with sexual or not. If someone is uncomfortable with a touch, they are entitled to not be touched that way, without any corporate repercussions. Nothing to do with assimilating, assimilation does not include giving up consent, or bodily autonomy

@undefeated_marc @xavierjp__ No one is being forced to shake hands. It’s a nonsexual cultural norm of greeting. People aren’t forced to shake hands in the same way a company that wants its employees to shake hands isn’t forced to give people work who won’t assimilate. Simple.

I paid a visit today to the pro-Palestine fifth-column cranks outside Parliament. They were clearly not happy to see me. I’m a Zionist. I stand with Israel and its people, and I always will. I’m not afraid of these extremists, and neither should you be. Challenge them. Always.

@undefeated_marc @xavierjp__ Wrong. Companies can make their own rules about employee conduct and protocol including how clients are greeted. Regardless, handshakes usually happen in the job interview so a company can find out if a candidate discriminates based on sex or not. Assimilate.

@ReasonBound @xavierjp__ You’ve misinterpreted the situation. Someone already hired by a company is allowed to refuse touch in any way they are uncomfortable, whether the other person deems it sexual intent or not, and not face repercussions related to workplace opportunities or treatment.

@undefeated_marc @xavierjp__ It’s about sex discrimination you fucking retard. In the west men and women shake hands and it’s not sexual. It’s about cultural assimilation. No, you’re not forced to shake hands, but the country whose culture you refuse assimilation into isn’t forced to give you work either.

@MyronGainesX Imagine if a woman said to a man at work I’m not comfortable with you patting my shoulder, something that you do with everyone here, and the man said, oh u won’t let me touch u, ok, I’m gonna give u less opportunities and treat u differently. There would be an uproar

@ReasonBound @xavierjp__ If you are hired by a company, and are being treated differently because you’re not letting someone touch u in a way that you don’t like, that should never have to be tolerated. Handshaking is not in any job description. This isn’t working in a country, this is alr being hired

@undefeated_marc @xavierjp__ Your analogy isn’t apt. Handshaking is a standard greeting in the west. No one should be forced to, but you’re not entitled to reject cultural norms and get work from that culture either. Tough.

@xavierjp__ Everyone defending her, it’s got nothing to do with sexual. If a woman was uncomfortable with you patting her on the shoulder, would u force her to tolerate it cuz u tell her it’s not sexual?? No, you’d respect her comfort and avoid doing that.

@xavierjp__ I don’t think that’s the point at all. Is custom to shake hands a sign of acknowledgement and respect. I think she is petty for not giving the man business but is ridiculous to think a touch is automatically sexual.
