@Basil2733 The PM also literally had to be appointed by the Shah. So many claim that Mossadegh was an "elected" leader that was "overthrown" by the Shah whilst backed by the CIA.
He tried to launch a coup against the Shah once he was ordered removed, and failed.

Correct. Mossadegh wasn't "democratically elected", nor elected at all, and he was very authoritarian, abolished parliament, ran mob violence and death squads, and tried to overthrow the government to become an absolute tyrant.

Where is the US outcry over this? And this is only 1500 of over ~2 million murdered by the Iraqi "regime". The US said Iraq was Nazis over finding 27 bodies in the 1990s, but we find dozens of 1000+ body mass graves created by the post-2003 regime and the US and NGOs are silent.

Iraqi Shiites chose Iraq over Khomeini. The Dawa and the boot licking Al-Maliki do not represent Iraqi Shiites
