Garland's agent Judd Moldaver helped facilitate the trade with the Canucks, all was respectful and harmonious. Believe Moldaver and the Canucks were working with 4 teams to the end on Garland.

@VCanucksNews I wouldn’t get me hopes up too high. McCarron isn’t really comparable bc of handedness, size and toughness. Smith is a high-end forechecker, in a marketplace with very few such options (other than McMann/maybe Sherwood).

The prices paid for McCarron and Smith bode well for the what the Canucks should get for Teddy Blueger.

@unicornbrian I do my best to not be the C in those 3 sets of winger situations haha. Doesn't always work out that way.
I will say that it is my goal to get into much better shape for next season. Im getting older, but im for to young (37 this year) to be begging for more forwards 😅

Just wrapped up one of my final beer league games of the 2025-26 season. I walked in to a nightmare scenario: 7 skaters.
I'm curious what's your "perfect" beer league lineup?
• In my 20's, it was all about 9 skaters. A perfect 6F, 3D rotation.
• Now in my 35+ days, I value 9F far too much. It's 13 skaters all day.
