The actual way I will love to live my life A life where I can afford to buy whatever I want and go wherever I like. The kind of life that allows me not to lose touch with my reality and my roots. Today you fit see me for Abu Dhabi enjoying. Next tomorrow I dey for village dey follow people swim inside river. Another day I’m at a conference presenting a research project. The next day I’m at halqah gathering. Next one I'm at the office working. Then another day, we dey for party. Just pure balance. Like I just want to be freeeeee.

The day I changed my mindset from seeing my work as just a job to seeing it as an engineering problems that we need to solve, I have been more innovative and enjoying being part of it.

@MapMakinMeyers Man it’s hard, today I need all gas stations data in my city, checked lots of websites couldn’t get enough I later had to do we scrapping and geo code afterwards, GIS tutorial are easy but when it’s real life issues concerns the thinking involved is crazy!

All I’ll say is,if you’re truly passionate about something, you won’t wait for it to be taught in class before you learn it. I was doing manual drafting in my school days, but I still took it upon myself to learn different software because I loved CAD. That’s how I found my edge.

I was a university dropout when I paid for my siblings GCE forms. One of them is now a senior Tech bro in Canada. I was in the university as an undergrad in London when I was also funding my sisters degree in Uni Ilorin. We collectively funded her Masters, she just got a great job in London a few weeks ago. We must collectively hold the goverment to account for making cost of living so miserable for the common man. Now life is harder than ever for our people, and extreme Individualism is not the way to go. We must try and manage together, that is our only hope🙏🙏

Remember this Civil 3D parcel layout? i Just took it into ArcGIS Pro. Importing the CAD is only step one, the real deal is turning the geometry into smart, usable data that staeholders can mae decision with. This is what I did→ I categorized parcels by Land Use → map became way easier to read Quick Python script to auto generate unique Plot IDs, sizes, names and other attributes Added dynamic labels so the IDs show up clean on the map Created beacon points with XY, Lat and Long Cleaned and sorted the whole attribute table Then i published it to a web map, now i'm planning to build a Power BI dashboard for better visualization and create Survey123 connect so field data from site comes in real time. CAD gives you the shapes, GIS gives you the actual information and power to make decisions. Anyone else bridging CAD to GIS like this? Either for land management like this or Engineering Projects, What's your usual workflow?
