PI NETWORK ADDS 100K KYC'd PIONEERS AND 30K MIGRATIONS IN APRIL Pi Network welcomed another 100,000 fully KYC'd Pioneers and 30,000 fresh mainnet migrations in April, @PiCoreTeam confirmed in its monthly Network Update on Monday. The cumulative totals now stand at 18.1 million Pioneers fully KYC'd and 16.72 million migrated to mainnet, extending one of the largest verified user bases in crypto. April's gains land in the run-up to the Protocol 23 mandatory node upgrade ending on May 15, a major milestone that unlocks full smart contract functionality on the pi-network:native mainnet.

We probably took the listing of $Pi on @Trendseeter way too seriously at the beginning. The trading volume turned out to be surprisingly low. My judgment was seriously off. From this, we can see that Pi Network isn’t really popular in the US and Europe — its influence there is quite limited. Instead, Pi is mainly popular in countries like China, South Korea, Vietnam, and India. So, do you really think Dr. Nicolas is that impressive? In reality, in the US—especially in places like Silicon Valley—he’s quite ordinary and not well-known. So honestly, he should be grateful to supporters like us. 💥 Just like BNB, TON, TRX, ETH, SOL, and SUI, $PI is a token with its own blockchain. It is not dependent on any other chain. Most tokens that operate on their own blockchain tend to perform well over time because they have full control over their ecosystem, utility, and development. #PiNetwork is still in it's early stage. Give it time and everything will align for good.

IS PI THE BENCHMARK FOR CRYPTO OGS? You still pay. Your asset crashes. You already paid. No cash. Doesn't matter. Pay anyway. Every country is competing for your capital. The Netherlands is taxing it away.

Saw some people panicking or asking about quantum computing's impact on crypto. At a high level, all crypto has to do is to upgrade to Quantum-Resistant (Post-Quantum) Algorithms. So, no need to panic. 😂 In practice, there are some execution considerations. It's hard to organize upgrades in a decentralized world. There will likely be many debates on which algorithm(s) to use, resulting in some forks. And some dead project may not upgrade at all. Might be a good to cleanse out those projects anyway. New code may introduce other bugs or security issues in the short term. People who self custody will have to migrate their coins to new wallets. This brings to the question of Satoshi's bitcoins. If those coins move, then it means he/she is still around, which is interesting to know. If they don't move (in a certain period of time), it might be better to lock (or effectively burn) those addresses so that they don't go to the first hacker who cracks it. There is also the difficulty of identifying all his addresses, and not confuse with some old hodlers. Anyway, it's a different topic for later. Fundamentally: It's always easier to encrypt than decrypt. More computing power is always good. Crypto will stay, post quantum.

Vanaf 2028 wil Nederland belasting heffen over winst die je nog niet eens hebt gemaakt. Je bezit stijgt op papier — en jij moet direct afrekenen, zonder dat er ook maar één euro is binnengekomen. Gevolg: Beleggers moeten verkopen om belasting te betalen, minder investeringsbereidheid, kapitaal vlucht naar het buitenland en het vertrouwen krijgt opnieuw een klap. RTL Z: “EU wil dat burgers meer gaan beleggen” Aanbeveling aan lidstaten - bied “savings & investments account” aan met: “simple tax rules and attractive tax benefits - allowing investors to retain a greater portion of their earnings” NL: hier, 36% vermogensaanwasbelasting.

Als je een nieuwe belasting niet invoert kost dat de overheid helemaal niets, net als dat als ik je pindakaas *niet* opeet het mij geen pindakaas kost. Zullen we een keer minder gaan uitgeven in plaats van bedenken wie dit keer weer meer moet betalen?

BOX 3 2028 - 36% Belasting op ongerealiseerde winst gaat gewoon door. Reken er maar op dat je vanaf 2028, elk jaar, 36% belasting gaat betalen over je groei. Dit treft 1 op de 4 a 5 huishoudens en 1,3 Miljoen ZZP'rs. Dat zijn bij elkaar 4,5 miljoen Nederlanders: - Starters die iets willen opbouwen om een huis te kopen, worden nu afgestraft. - Kapitaalvlucht, zie Laffercurve. - Investeringsklimaat wordt onbetrouwbaar, met of zonder uitzonderingen voor start-ups. Eerste waarschuwingen zijn al gegeven in het buitenland over investeren in Nederland. - 1,3 Miljoen ZZP'rs moeten hun eigen pensioen opbouwen, dit wordt nu harder afgestraft. - Gaat op de lange termijn van invloed zijn op de pensioenpremies, de werkende Nederlander gaat meer uit eigen zak moeten inleveren. - Nederland wordt onaantrekkelijk voor bedrijven die betalen in aandelenpakketten. Grote bedrijven zullen hun kantoor verplaatsen naar het buitenland zoals Shell en Unilever. Kortom, de gevolgen zijn enorm. En we kennen de beloftes allemaal van de politiek. ''Tussenjaar'', werken naar een ''beter stelsel''. Maar dat blijkt niet uit hun vrijstelling van 1800 euro per persoon of tarief van 36%. En het is waanzin, dat belasting heffen over gerealiseerde winst, moeilijk te implementeren is. Sterker nog, dat is makkelijker dan ongerealiseerde groei belasten. Deze oneerlijke, onrechtmatige en bizarre wetsvoorstel is mede mogelijk gemaakt door: VVD, D66, CDA, Groenlinks-PvdA, PvdD, Volt en SP. Neem dit mee in de gemeentelijke verkiezingen en de toekomst.

Ik adviseer iedereen zich grondig te verdiepen in box 3. Mensen die beleggen moeten over koersstijgingen (niet verzilverde winst) belasting betalen. Koersdalingen mogen niet verrekend worden. Kortom: u loopt het risico, de belasting plukt de vruchten. Welke dwaas gaat er dan nog beleggen? Je vermogen in een huis in het buitenland steken is een optie. Maar ook dat zal wel snel veranderen als teveel mensen dat gaan doen. De EU wil juist graag dat mensen meer gaan beleggen. Onze roverheid fietst daar dwars tegen in. Emigreren naar een beter belastingregime is de beste optie. Italië of Oostenrijk bijvoorbeeld.
