I am correct 97% of the time. Who cares about the other 4%?

@MikiMouze16 @krysteburn @ma1ybe No, dummy. The original post references corporate America meaning women who have careers outside of the home. The goal post didn’t move. You just have comprehension issues.

Fun fact: It is typically illegal to sell a puppy younger than 8 weeks old because it’s considered cruel to separate it from its mother, but unfortunately corporate America expects women to return to work 4 weeks after giving birth.

This is so sad.

@untrainablekat @krysteburn @ma1ybe India is number 1 in births, roughly 23 million, has 26 weeks paid maternity leave. China, with the second most births a year at about 8iah million, has 190 day paid maternity leave. So you're argument falls apart instantly when look at numbers.

Most of the world doesn’t have 3.6 million births annually. Take 3.6 million times about $6000 if you give women $1000 per month for 6 months (which won’t even come close to paying their bills). What’s the math on that 21.6 billion dollars. Plus consider the child tax credit each family receives of $2200 per year and you’re looking at $29.5 billion dollars. Just not feasible. There is no other country in the world that you can compare to the United States regarding births and women in the workforce.

@untrainablekat @MikiMouze16 @ma1ybe most of the world has paid maternity/parental leave so women can stay at home during baby's most needy period; then (can) go back to work. US is special in that it values military over anything, more than any other country in the world, apart from maybe DPRK. and billionaires.

Seeing $28 lunch floating by on the feed made me wonder if I was out of touch, so I checked chipotle around here, not a cheap area. Burritos are still $10.50, and more food than I can eat in one sitting. What are y'all doing?

@tigertunesusa @AdrianneCurry Nothing but an online beggar. Shes no different from people who sit on the street corner. She just makes better money than others who sell avon because she used to be on TV so people develop creepy parasocial relationships with her. Its not a real job.

@krysteburn @MikiMouze16 @ma1ybe If you work in corporate America, short term disability covers 8-12 weeks depending on if you had a vaginal birth or a c-section. The government is not responsible for paying people and shouldn’t be.
