@Blodeuweddmoon My sisters friend died of cancer, leaving 3 young children behind with father. Sadly didn’t have life insurance, we all did a go fund for the children, to help them later on in life. Her partners and children’s benefit payments stopped, DWP told they could live on money raised 🤬

My sister is disabled and gets UC. Her partner has a car to drive her places. Recently someone damaged the car, he got an insurance payout but the DWP class this as income and have stopped her UC payment this month. Yet you can be a billionaire and get away with not paying tax.
