We are pleased to confirm that following some feedback from our BME Members that your BME SU Officer Hera passed on, the university has extended library opening times. From the 28th April to the 12th May (Eid), three libraries, one on each campus, will be open until 4am!

SU elections are upon us! The BME Network Committee carefully decided to endorse these candidates based on their manifestos. The manifestos can be found on the SU website. Voting closes tomorrow (19th) at 3pm.

Get Connected: BME Careers Event This Q & A event is allows students to pose questions to our BME employer partners and alumni. Questions can be submitted in advance or at the event. There will be an opportunity to network with speakers at the end of the event. Link in bio!

This LGBT+ History Month we are going to be working to raise funds for the amazing @ExistLoudlyUK. For the rest of February we are running a photo competition to support black trans and queer youth. Entry is £1 which can be paid through our go fund me page

For Disability History Month we are collaborating with SignSoc! Join us tomorrow for a sign workshop about Christmas signs and songs. The event will be held via zoom - buy a tick on the SU website.

For Disability History Month we are holding an event on the 7th December. We are inviting students to share their experiences of being disabled for others to learn how to be better allies. If you would like to be part our event, please do get in touch!
