@catsmirkk listen to new genres of music you haven't before, or just experience new art in general. something different to get inspired by. I think this happens because we can get "creative tunnel vision" if that makes sense? I've been there too

How does one escape the creative rut where you genuinely just forget how to mix, how to write chords and just kind of everything bc omg. I've been going through that for like half a year now and it's killing me ☹️☹️☹️

@saphimusics if you're designing a lead, adding some expressive aspects can make it sound way cooler. attack/glide speed based off velocity, vibrato over time with an envelope, etc, keeps the sound interesting and versatile
