the weakening of ethics and humanities is very concerning. hindi lang at stake dito ang curriculum design but also the meaning of education itself. when learning is reduced to utility and workforce readiness, the human person risks being treated as a tool rather than a thinker.

That CHED memo on GE. Wow. From 36 GE units GE down to 18. No humanities, socsci down to 1 class on Rizal. STEM not spared either - no math, no natural sciences. Sabi daw missing courses are covered in HS - aber ba yung state ng basic ed natin? Lugi ang kabataan at bayan.
