💔 When Proof of Death Becomes Harder Than Death Itself #Jitu_Munda walked into Orissa Gramin Bank carrying his sister’s skeleton on his shoulder. Yes, his own sister. Kalra Munda had died two months earlier. Before she passed, she told him about ₹19,300 in her bank account, money that meant survival for him. He went to Orissa Gramin Bank to withdraw it. The officials responded exactly as the system teaches them to. Bring the account holder. Or bring a death certificate. Or prove you are the legal heir. They were not wrong, they were following the rules only. But here is the reality. For Jitu, getting a death certificate from authorities was not just difficult, it was nearly impossible. No access, no resources, no guidance, only barriers. So he did something unthinkable. He went back, dug up his sister’s grave, collected her remains in a sack, and walked nearly 5 kilometers carrying her skeleton on his shoulder, just to prove she was dead. Pause and think about that. A man had to exhume his own sister to be taken seriously. This is not just poverty. This is not just bureaucracy. This is what happens when systems are designed without understanding the lives of the poorest. Yes, the bank followed the rules. But when rules become unreachable, they stop being systems, they become walls. What Jitu carried that day was not just his sister. He carried the failure of a system that demands documents from those who do not even have access to dignity.

🚨 Serious concerns have been raised in Federal Bank in Business Summit held at Port Blair (Apr 17-18, 2026). As per the FBOA letter, “unwanted incidents” and complaints of inappropriate conduct were reported. But key questions remain unanswered so @FederalBankLtd can you clear: ➡ What exactly happened at the event? ➡ Is this a sexual harassment complaint, molestation allegation, or other misconduct? ➡ Has an independent inquiry been initiated? The Association also says this is not an isolated case, with similar concerns in past Reward & Recognition events, and issues around alcohol-linked social gatherings. Transparency is needed. Employees deserve clarity and safety. @DFS_India
