R&B DOES NOT MOVE THE NEEDLE B/C IT IS A NICHE GENRE AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN!!! Its also too rigid with a pedestrian eared fanbase. The r&b audience DOES NOT want its artists to grow, they want them making the same songs and albums over and over b/c they have stuck, shot ears.
