All UPSD schools will be closed for students on Friday, October 10, 2025. UPSD educators will be reporting to work on this day and using the time for professional development and collaboration to better serve our students. Students will return to school on Monday, October 13th.

All UPSD schools will start one hour late this Wed, Sept 3, 2025. Buses will run one hour later on normal routes. With the exception of Oct 29, 2025, and June 10, 2026, all Wednesdays between now and the end of the school year will follow this late start schedule.

All UPSD schools will be closed Aug 29-Sep 1, 2025 for Labor Day weekend. The Educational Service Center, located at 3717 Grandview Dr W,  will be open on Aug 29th from 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. If you need assistance, call 253-566-5600. Schools will reopen on Tuesday, Sept 2nd.

@Z_Dahnke If you have concerns about your family's access to a bus stop, please contact the Transportation Department at 253-566-5724. The District is not always notified of all of the City's construction projects, so if there is an issue for a student, we would like to know about it.
