@AdamSchefter Not hard to see how he got elected, with so many idiots in this country. Executive orders only have the power of law, to the extent that they are orders as to how the federal government must act. Last I checked, students aren’t part of the federal government. Epstein files please

Sources: #Texans RB Joe Mixon is not expected to play this season as he deals with a foot injury from the offseason. Mixon likely remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list through the season. Meanwhile, Houston moves forward with Nick Chubb and Woody Marks.

@MrPitbull07 $120 probably isn’t realistic as it’s on the high end at 24%. But $40 is just out of touch, cheap, and DEFINITELY not realistic as an 8% tip. That’s barely above the sales tax rate in my state. If you went to arbitration with that, you’d lose and she’d get her 24%.

We went to a dinner as a group and had a $500 bill. We tipped $40. We were happy we can be able to give our server something, but her reaction was the opposite. She told us she assumed we're going to give her at least $120. When we asked for the manager, she said she was just joking, but she wasn't smiling at all. Idk, but is $40 tip enough for $500 bill? I just feel like expecting $120 is not realistic. ~Lea Robertson

@danielledsouzag 23 people at approximately $100k each compared to 5 at over $300k each. Expensive grift for a handful of do-nothings. If she used 5 for a total of $500k, saving nearly 2 million, then we’d have something to talk about. Guess you only need 5 to promote her movie & do NOTHING else.

Jill Biden had a White House staff of 23, costing taxpayers $2.4 million a year. First Lady Melania Trump has cut the size of the Office of the First Lady to a staff of just 5, saving taxpayers $1.7 million a year. I wonder why the media hasn’t covered this.

@LivinSmall @TheDamaniFelder They’d rather hear “young ladies, young ladies I like ‘em underage, see some say that’s statutory but I say it’s mandatory “. That’s more relatable to them than going to any of the places you mentioned. To each his own, the rest of us understood and enjoyed the SB show just fine.

It's honestly fascinating and quite entertaining watching a good amount of people pretend to have loved a Super Bowl halftime show that most of them didn't even understand a single word of.

Many people believe the NFL is making a political statement by picking Bad Bunny to perform at the Super Bowl, but I really think it's as simple as... 1. He's the world's most popular artist 2. Having him perform advances the NFL’s long-stated goal of international expansion 3. Picking someone with little overlap with the average NFL fan will help the league set a new viewership record — Americans will watch no matter what, and Bad Bunny pulls in new viewers who might not have tuned in otherwise. Music aside, it makes a lot of business sense.

@IronrangerJLo @johnrich Devices are connected to the tv’s of a representative sample of the entire pool of possible viewers. Then the results of who watched what is extrapolated to determine approximately what the total viewing audience was. What you watch affects NOTHING unless you’re in the sample.

@joeroganhq NFL’s stated goals with regard to its fan base are global expansion and dominating the youth demographic. The halftime entertainment aligns with that. Period. Got news for you uncle Kid Rico, you and your MAGA cult fans are not part of that demographic. Whine to wind if you wish.

@paytonmcnabb_ Because married women who have changed their last name to their husband’s could get blocked from registering to vote based on discrepancies between their ID and birth certificate. It already happened in AZ when they enacted similar state legislation in 2005. Supreme Ct nixed it.

@JonFromAlberta You can’t just “set aside” the debate about independence. It IS the overwhelming reason Canadians hate Americans. We (Americans) have directly created that threat (by ignorantly voting for trump) or indirectly (by not doing more, sooner, to prevent him from getting re-elected).

Why do so many Canadians hate Americans? All the debate about independence aside, the Americans are our greatest friends and best allies. We are culturally aligned with them more than any other country. We do more business with them than any other country. Please explain…

@eevblog He didn’t pardon and hire J6 criminals to do the “deporting”. This is NOT about deportations. It’s about compiling a secret paramilitary federal force to “normalize” occupying democratic cities so he can instigate violence and declare martial law before midterm elections.

Question for Americans from a dumb Aussie about the Minnesota thing. Obama used ICE to deport approx 3M illegals, and got the nickname "Deporter in Chief". And he wasn't even voted in on doing that. There were some protests, but nothing even remotely violet or crazy. Why is now everyone so violet and crazy? Is there any other explanation apart from Orange Man Bad?

@SquidRelevance @StBrownPodcast Got a better idea. Why don’t the people criticizing the hire break it down, X’s and O’s, what offense he runs, does he fit personnel to scheme or other way around? The reason why is they don’t know. It’s not a household retread name, therefore terrible hire goes their logic.

@Dangerbug @RapSheet If heckling were a ban-worthy offense, there would be empty stadiums for every professional sports home game in Philadelphia. The videos show DK purposely putting himself well behind the bench area and within ear shot. He then walked over looking to escalate, and assaulted him.

The two-game suspension for #Steelers WR DK Metcalf could be costly, if upheld. Based on his contract, the suspension would void not just the rest of his salary for this season but $45M in future guarantees — $25M fully guaranteed in 2026 and $20M guarantee for injury in 2027.

@TomPelissero @RapSheet Why is no one talking about how far away from the bench area DK was. He went out of his way to go confront the fan and physically assault him. How about not having rabbit ears and reacting to what fans say 20 yds away. So sick of the “yeah but” people. OWN YOUR behavior.

Steelers WR DK Metcalf had a history with the Lions fan he confronted Sunday — Metcalf reported the same fan to Seahawks security last season while playing for Seattle, sources say. The NFL is reviewing the incident for potential discipline.

Being here illegally is a civil violation, which means the threshold of what LEOs can do in pursuit of such is much, much more restrictive. This is a privately owned, publicly accessible property, which means a warrant or express permission from the owner of the property would generally be needed. Simply chasing someone doesn't automatically grant them the ability to follow them onto private property. The next step would simply be to get a warrant and enter the premises if and only if the OWNER or a valid agent doesn't grant entry in the meantime. In order to justify exigent circumstances and hot pursuit, the crime would need to be "serious", and a crime. Not a civil violation. There also needs to be a serious risk of harm and/or a threat of imminent destruction of evidence. This simply does not quality for "hot pursuit" unless there are other apparent facts. The patron who closed the door wouldn't have those facts readily available, and therefore cannot be held criminally liable for simply denying entry onto private property. This is why y'all need to start learning your rights and how the law ACTUALLY works. If that person gets arrested for this, that's a 4th Amendment violation and lawsuit, period. Obstruction only occurs if the duty or acts are under lawful authority. In this case, chasing someone onto private property for a civil violation doesn't satisfy that threshold. The ICE agent simply needs to get a judicial warrant, easy fix.

Illegal fleeing from ICE runs into a tire store where a patron and then an employee hold the door shut so that the agent can’t continue his pursuit. This is blatant obstruction, in my opinion, and both the patron and employee should be charged.
