We don't have anyone at our buy counter who is rude and snarky, although I'm sure anyone can have an off day. Our sneakers are authenticated through Entrupy. We have had, on rare occasion, had someone bring something to our attention where there was a question of authenticity. They contacted us privately and we investigated. This is the first time in 13 years and 5 stores anyone has gone online and publicly accused us of deliberately selling fakes. We do not.

@UptownAustin I did take them up to the counter and the front desk guy (hispanic) and he said he was the one who aunthenticated them when I asked him how they were authenticated. I made my case with him and he took them behind the counter. But the fact that he was so rude and snarky.

Our sneakers are authenticated through Entrupy, so we don’t buy fakes. If you are going to make such allegations, you need to provide proof to the contrary because we can provide authentication documentation. Further, no manager has mentioned this because it would’ve been double-checked. We would NEVER deliberately try to sell fake anything. It’s unethical and illegal. Mistakes are possible in rare circumstances but your allegation and assumptions about our intent is off-base. If there are sneakers you believe are fake, show us and we’ll either provide proof they are authentic or take them out of inventory. End of story.

@UptownAustin And yes it was at the burnet location. They had counterfit/knock off’s sneakers for sale and they were trying to pass them off as real. Real shame on these people. And CHARGING $60 for FAKE shoes is insane.
