It’s always great talking about your successes but in order to be successful you have generally picked up some battle scars along the way It’s true, I’ve done extremely well within crypto and made millions but my loses (especially when I had little dry powder to play with) have also been considerable Lets talk about my losses and worst plays since 2017 Many of which I’ve forgotten but the main ones are entrenched and engraved on and in my mind forever! My first big loss was $RPM a shitty project on Stex exchange (even the exchange has folded!) I lost around $35,000 there The next was a rug of a project where I was the largest holder in 2020. I can’t even remember the name but that cost me $40,000 Alongside that they also took $10,000 of mine for a pre sale too Just after in 2020 I had my metamask hacked (I Must have hooked up to a dodgy website) and had $90,000 worth of $RPG drained All I had left was my $VRA and a little $XDB moving into the bull (proved to be a winning move) I then put $60,000 into $LUNA during the crash at around $1 I woke up 12 hours later having a balance of just $12!! Had I waited another 12 hours I’d have had around $18M!! Then came $LIFE (which I still hold) where I have lost over $500,000 since investing (they say it’s only a loss once you sell but this one is utterly fucked) and if I sell my 525M tokens now the project will die $XDB made me a fortune in 2021 but lost me $50,000 the second time around The most recent one was $POON this year where I lost around $130,000 to a slow rug and a team that have shown their true colours There have been others which escape me now but those were my largest losses so far in crypto At one point in late 2020 I only had around $50,000 in $VRA and $XDB and I came so close to just capitulating and walking away Thank god I didn’t. Each time I dusted myself off and went again. I NEVER gave up. I sharpened my skill set and continued I’ve always gone in hard. Never been one for investing a few grand. It’s been 20-200k on my conviction plays and yes I’ve lost a huge amount but I’ve gained much more as well as huge experience and forged many partnerships and gained many contacts and great friends along the way. And if you win more than you lose and that includes life long friends, you’re winning!!
