@NathanM10726512 @SPRWIFE it's simple, monsters dust in UNDERTALE and they both bleed and dust in DELTARUNE. it's not an inconsistency, they're just different universes.

@SPRWIFE Theres tons of inconsistency in Tobys work dont overthink it...Monsters arent supposed to bleed for example and Toby has said this yet Susie bleeds in chapt 4 (supposedly), monsters turn to dust because magic tied to SOULs even though their determination is crazy high in Delta.

did anyone else notice this inconsistency or am i crazy for doing such a thing

the greatest change to deltarune’s text system compared to undertale’s is the addition of automatic line breaks. toby was in the trenches when making undertale, like every line break was placed manually in all the dialogue in the game
