Ethan Hawke said he watched every Denzel Washington performance he could find like game tape, studying every move, just to avoid getting completely outshined in Training Day (2001).

La escena de despedida entre Michael y Jim en The Office tomó casi 19 tomas. Steve Carell y John Krasinski no podían parar de llorar porque era la salida real de Carell del show. Al final, la escena que vimos fue la única que lograron grabar completa.

Rainn Wilson originally auditioned for the role of Michael Scott in The Office (2005). While he didn't get it, the producers loved his "weird energy" so much they cast him as Dwight, a role he used to redefine the modern sitcom sidekick.

Tonight, Britain holds its breath for a woman who has given it so much. At 91, Judi Dench is resting quietly at home, surrounded not by spotlights or applause, but by the soft presence of family during what loved ones describe as a “fragile time.” There are no dramatic scenes — just tenderness, privacy, and a nation murmuring its gratitude into the silence. For decades, she has been the beating heart of British theatre and film — breathing life into the words of William Shakespeare, commanding stages with quiet majesty, and moving audiences to tears in films like Belfast. Her voice has carried our stories. Her presence has defined generations. Now, as she gently withdraws from the glare of the spotlight, the country sends its love back to her — wrapped in thanks, admiration, and the countless memories she gifted us. A national treasure, forever etched into Britain’s soul.

In Dunkirk (2017) Tom Hardy’s face is covered by a pilot mask for 90% of the film. Nolan did this on purpose because he believes Hardy can "act with just his eyes" better than most actors can with their whole bodies.

Gone in 60 Seconds is another example of how deep & how excellent Robert Duvall’s filmography was over the course of basically 6 decades. This isn’t one of Duvall’s best films, but it’s entertaining as hell. This was a TNT/TBS mainstay. It’s begging for a rewatch right now.
