seungkwan clarified on his live that the stories about him paying in advance for carats at his friend’s restaurant in jeju isn’t true, and was also the reason the jeju tourism ambassador svt record was taken down 🍊 there are stories going around saying that i pre-paid for fans’ meals there. it was even being shared like it was a heartwarming story but the truth is, i’ve never done that, i’ve never done anything like that. tbh i’ve wanted to talk abt this for a while. ijust wasn’t sure whether it was right for me to be the one to say it. i kept feeling uncertain abt it. this has actually been going on since last year. the truth is i dont keep in touch with that the friend who runs the barbecue restaurant anymore and as you know, i filmed a vlog there. i filmed it with good intentions, i really just did it out of goodwill. fans started going there a lot after that 🍊 i cant go into the details but something happened involving that friend that i personally couldn’t accept. some of our fans ended up being affected because of that. but i couldn’t exactly ask for news articles to be written abt it or post on weverse and say something happened or tell everyone to be careful like that, so i couldnt say anything. then recently, people started talking abt that restaurant again and i know that a lot of carats are still going there. im not saying you shouldnt go. if you’re going bc the food is genuinely delicious, i’m not going to stop you. but i never pre-paid for meals so carats could eat there. that never happened 🍊 i’ve decided to talk about it now. anyway… people keep calling it a heartwarming story, but i dont like receiving praise for something i never did. i still felt it was right for me to say this myself that’s why i’m bringing it up during this live, even though i didn’t have to 🍊 well i dont think something like this will happen again for a while, but if someone says they’re my friend and says they’ll book concert tickets for you [something like that] then asks you to send them money for it, you absolutely must not do that, that is absolutely not true. i never arrange tickets for people like that. if someone says ‘im seungkwan’s friend so i’ll book the tickets for you’ or anything like that, i really hope carats will be careful. absolutely not. 🍊 anyways i feel like i shared a little too much tmi but carats always come first for me. the most important thing is making sure nothing happens that harms carats. that’s actually why the jeju tourism ambassador vlog was taken down
