👨🏻‍⚕I had the honor of being an professor (CMUN) in a course on holmium laser enucleation (HoLEP), where we shared the benefits of the various techniques that can be used in prostate enucleation, as well as the key role of new technologies in surgical outcomes. We performed a live surgery, exchanging experiences with colleagues interested in taking enucleation to the next level ✅ Enucleation is not the future. It's the standard we're building today 🙌🏻. En pacientes con RT, el tejido suele ser más duro, “acartonado”, sugiero no buscar el plano bello (beautiful plane) tal como lo explicó @fseguradiazURO , porque tal vez no lo encuentres, hacerlo anatómicamente (por donde debería ir el plano pero sin plano, en temas de esfínter, es lo mismo, solo respetar el esfínter, sugiero no dejar tejido residual, porque el miedo a la incontinencia, está haciendo que muchos cirujanos dejen tejido residual y pronto vamos a empezar con la generación de Holeps redo (ya me han tocado varias) Solo respetar el esfínter, es suficiente para tener continencia perfecta

@UroBruce Además el Telepack Storz no genera interferencia con el láser. 👌🏻

30 seconds of visual satisfaction during a key step of a #holep I use a telepack; a high-cost video and vision system isn't necessary for a holep, which could be a way to optimize costs. Holep number 661 #aeep #eep

In Mexico 🇲🇽 , everything is reusable: the fibers, the baskets, the guides, the morcellator rods. Since costs are high and most of the population doesn't have medical insurance, we have to optimize costs as much as possible to be able to offer first-world medicine. Everything is sterilized and doesn't put the patient at risk!
