Day 5-7 of my US trip has been at #AACL2024. I really enjoyed the plenaries and papers, and especially meeting up with everybody. A big thanks to Kris Kyle for putting it all together. And thanks to everyone who came to my own talk on concordancing with AI.

Check out the latest volume #SCL116 in the book series I edit, offering a multidimensional approach to textbook English. I’m esp excited about this one bc it connects to work I did for my dissertation, published as a book in the same series almost a hundred volumes earlier #SCL18
