@urse10 I think we would all be be much better off if we question rather than just accept what is presented to us.
English

Johan might actually be wrong on this one...
What he is describing is skill - the "right" technique, in the right place at the right time.
Reece Edwards@ReeceEdwardsX
"Technique is not being able to juggle a ball 1000 times. Anyone can do that by practicing. Then you can work in the circus. Technique is passing the ball with one touch, with the right speed, at the right foot of your team mate." Johan Cruyff

@PeterPrickett Obviously this is a really unimportant semantic point you brought up and I’m arguing. the thing that annoys me is so many people just accept that whatever they learn on a course is fact, when it’s little more than the opinions at that time of the people who wrote that course
English

@PeterPrickett I’ve literally just seen your post questioning the four corners. And I didn’t say that you never do question the FA, I’m saying too many people accept these courses as FACT. It drives me mad.
English

@urse10 Fair enough, very easy to misread a tweets implication rather than what it does say.
I would agree that too many people do just agree and not look beyond what they are shown on a course or webinar.
English

@PeterPrickett Of course everyone can be and is wrong at times, and most subjects are very subjective anyway. However, in this instance, it seems like you’ve subconsciously accepted the FA definitions as a fact over many years because they are so ingrained in English coaching.
English

I constantly question the FA definitions or versions of things (today's timeline would attest to that).
Johan is not always right. In fact he is often downright wrong but says things in such a way that people think "yes, you have convinced me".
It is quite possible for a person and organisation to be on the money in one area and way off in another.

@smpottsworth @ChelseaFC Glorious tweet out of absolutely nowhere!
English

That was a truly PATHETIC performance @ChelseaFC. Embarrassing! Top 4? Absolutely no chance with that keeper and no clinical striker.
English

@urse10 you were a baller at afc wimbledon! my favourite player at the time.
English

@DaveOCKOP This is annoying. He’s clearly got technical ability and elite level of acceleration and turning but how can you watch that and think he’s currently ON COURSE to be a top level decision maker? He could get there but he’s so far off Danns right now
English

@johnmatrixxx Not just Madrid. Liverpool and all others who are a big bro in an attempted transfer
English

@urse10 Yes I originally said it was to cause chaos and also destabilise. I was annoyed at how they keep saying they are being respectful because they have good relationship but they ain't. Choose how you want to look at it, Madrid will always try to gain an advantage
English

Bid was made to cause chaos and destabilise and looks like it worked. I kept reading that Madrid want to be respectful, Bulllllls**t. All they needed to do is speak to Trent directly and ask if theres a chance in January. 100% sure Trent says no. Madrid are wankers!!!

Gary Neville on Trent Alexander-Arnold bid: “It's insulting from Real Madrid. They behave like that sometimes, they think they can get what they want.” (Sky Sports)
English

@urse10 its pretty common knowledge Madrid get a lot of non footballing help. What other team gets bailed out by their government?
English

@johnmatrixxx To cause friction to get the player. It was not about direct competition
English

@urse10 So why did they make a bid then? Not buying its to make Trents exit smoother. The UCL is up for grabs this year and we are the in form team, of course they see us as competition. You may not but come March most of us will
English

@urse10 I don't know what Madrid are see in such high regard. They get help from the spanish media, government and UEFA. Do they really need to play dirty tricks as well?
English

@johnmatrixxx Mate I love Liverpool but you’re being very blinkered. Madrid don’t see us as direct competition. Even if we might play them in a CL knockout twice in next 5 years. Same as I don’t see Madrid as direct opponent for us
English

@urse10 i've come to terms with Trent leaving but Madrid do stuff like this all the time. The bid was unnecessary and this reaction to a bad performance was exactly what they were hoping for. Were Fulham our direct competition at the time we signed them?
