@mrcmeh Sure, the rear tyres are much thicker. But F1 cars have both front and rear axle widths set to 1.9m, from tyre edge to tyre edge, so the tyre widths don't matter much in this case. If his front left was out, with him being on a tangential line, his rear left would be out too.

It may be important to note: Antonelli's Lap 10 track limits were only discovered by the stewards on Lap 66, even when McLaren had reported Antonelli to the FIA by Lap 51. Note their words here - "he should get AT LEAST a 5 second penalty." An undebatable violation, such as the one on Lap 10, remaining "unnoticed" for 56 whole laps suggests errors (false negatives) with the AI reporting system responsible for screening track limit violations. There is also the looming question of why it took MORE THAN 15 LAPS for the stewards to review McLaren's appeal and announce the 4th violation from AKA12. (+a small fix to my 2nd tweet - Antonelli after serving a 15s penalty would've emerged P6, behind Verstappen)

As there seems to be some confusion about the specific violations that amount to the 5 instances, here are images from each violation: Lap 10, Turn 10 (*noted towards end of race) Lap 20, Turn 10 Lap 25, Turn 10 Lap 28, Turn 10 Lap 30, Turn 13 (*currently not reported by the FIA) While there remains a sliver of chance Antonelli's rear left tyre had remained on the white line, drone view images suggest he had left the track and gone fully onto the kerb. It is not understandable why this specific instance had not been at least 'noted' by the stewards during the race.
