Fun Fact Friday! Did you know the Buffalo Soldiers, organized at Ft. Leavenworth in 1866, were our first "park rangers"? Before the NPS existed, they protected Yosemite and Sequoia from poachers and fires. Even the iconic ranger hat is modeled after theirs. #DriveChange
