“Francia ha cerrado la vida nocturna, España e Italia están en completo cierre, y cómo la mitad de DC repleta los bares y restaurantes. No entiendo por qué no captan aquí que mucha gente va a morir.”
Alex Altman@aaltman82
France has shuttered nightlife, Spain and Italy are on complete lockdown, and like half of DC is crammed into bars and restaurants. I don’t understand why it hasn’t sunk in here that a lot of people are going to die.

You aren’t brave for going out and being social right now. None of us want to quarantine. It sucks. In a couple weeks, you’re going to have to go back and delete the photos of you at that birthday dinner tonight. You’ll be embarrassed you were so naive. Be a hero and stay in.

If you're choosing right now to be out and about at bars or in crowded places, it's because you're sad, NOT fun. Those smiling pictures that you're posting surrounded by other smiling people are only depressing. I promise.

@NicolettaGiaco4 @__Angharad @washingtonpost Last year, there were about 35 million flu illnesses, 16 million hospital visits, 500,000 hospitalizations about 35,000 deaths. The U.S. is not anywhere near those numbers.
English

@usaecuador @__Angharad @washingtonpost I live in Italy. Please, don't understimate. The problem is not Death rate, it's that 40% need hospitalization. Do calculation over 60 millions affected. Do you think US can manage the situation?

@some_woman @samuelsibeko @Muttley_au @Independent @ChristineMilne But few people have it compared to the flu and about 96% recover.
English

@samuelsibeko @usaecuador @Muttley_au @Independent @ChristineMilne Correct. It's also VERY early in this viruses life cycle within humans, too early to be comparing total death tolls, but so far death RATE is 10-30x higher than flu. People need to go back to math class!

Maybe we should have spent a little more time in ‘16 examining the case of the 13 y.o. girl who said Trump raped in her in Epstein’s house. It wasn’t a rumor it was in a deposition. Maybe a guy accused of such a thing should have been a little more scrutinized?@realDonaldTrump

@Muttley_au @Independent @ChristineMilne ...but we have history of seasonal flu.
CV is new, so whilst only a ‘mild’, with low mortality rates we still dont know enough about it.
Can it mutate (more fatal), is there a cure, can you get it again, can u have no symptoms but still be infectious, can we create a vaccine...
English

@usaecuador @washingtonpost Are you serious? This is actually an unknown virus as my doctor told me yesterday and cant really be compared! It is estimated in my state in Australia that we will have 12 000 deaths in my state alone! This is very easily transmitted and stays in the body for 37 days. research
