Later this spring the Army will begin awarding Master Combat Badges which will combine expert and combat badges. The new Master Combat Badge will blend the Combat Infantryman Badge, Combat Medical Badge or Combat Action Badge with their expert counterparts. #army #USArmy #veteran

During the waning days of WWII, then Capt Charles Patrick Murray Jr took out dozens of enemy soldiers in a French valley. He received the Medal of Honor for his fearless actions and leadership. He spent several decades in uniform and he is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
