He won in the strongest fields in golf, and when the Tour had no control of tee times. Coincidence? I don’t think so. You’re ill informed

Most of his starts were in full field events but 4/9 wins came in smaller fields. P was 169th when he won the Wyndham. Guys lower down the rankings are good too.

Can @OWGRltd explain how the RBC HILTON HEAD had a HIGHER field rating THAN THE MASTERS!!!! This should be a crime. This week’s PGA TOUR “designated” event included 46 players over 200th in the world; 9 over 300th 4 over 400th 5 over 500th 1 over 600th 2 over 800th 4 over 1500th

The Masters points are guaranteed. 1st gets 100, 2nd gets 60, 3rd gets 40, etc. You and Pat could go all Tonya Harding on the field and he'd still get 100 Points for finishing 1st. So, again. Why d'you care?

The New OWGR system is for 1 TOUR and ONE TOUR ONLY. I don’t care how many players you throw in- it actually should have a negative effect on “Field Rating”..once you get passed 200th in the world & it is over 31% of your field & it’s supposedly an “elevated” event…please.

@DellMatchPlay @PGATOUR This is not a WGC event… not when you skip guys who QUALIFY via world rank. It should be called PGATour Matchplay. It doesn’t deserve a WGC title when they don’t apply the rules to entry.

If you have the rank, you should be allowed to play.

@hendygolf @JamesHahnPGA IMO- there is no strategic alliance- why do they not have special designated everts that they gain DP World Tour exemptions to get into The Masters, or how have they not invcorporatede,,,why have they not come up with a SINGLE “Elvated” event in Europe or the UK…

@NoLayingUp Two defamation lawsuits. It’s really not hard to get your facts straight unless you are deliberately trying to mislead the public. Neither one of Patrick Reed’s cases are against the PGA TOUR and have nothing to do with Rory McIlroy.
