@kmbiamnozie Omo! going through some comments, I see plenty misinformed people. God heal our country 🙏 aggression and bullying is what the America government did to Iran. Simple! No world power should behave that way. All other American presidents know limits until they voted in oppressor!

Remember, remember this clearly people of God: Iran was not an imminent threat to the United States when this war began. Before the bombardment started on February 28, 2026, there were ongoing negotiations between the U.S. and Iran , talks aimed at limiting nuclear activity and reducing tensions. Officials on both sides were in discussions just days before the strikes, and there were signs of potential progress even on terms Iran hadn’t previously accepted. Yet instead of finishing those talks, choosing diplomacy, or finding a nonviolent resolution, what happened? A massive military campaign was launched, Epic Fury they called it, one that has now engulfed the region in war and led to thousands of deaths on all sides. This wasn’t defensive necessity; it was a choice. So let’s be honest about what this has never been about: It was never about liberation. It was never about protecting “democracy.” It was never about the safety of innocent civilians. Because if it were, we would not be watching: • Cities destroyed with bridge bombed • Families torn apart • Global markets thrown into chaos • Ordinary people paying the price while political narratives shift and change We keep calling it “strategy,” but you can dress it up in any diplomatic language you want, the effect on human life is the same. It has always been about power, interest, ego, and control, and when people lose their moral compass, the innocent pay the price. There is no justification for this level of attrition, for civilian suffering, for children caught in the crossfire. Nothing can make that strategic. Nothing can make it humane. Not in any honest moral language. Not now. Not ever.

Stop saying that please. Your wife can never be a liability to you. Someone who cooks for you, cleans your house, takes care of your children, goes through the pain of pregnancy. Is that what you call a liability? If you're to hire a cook, you'll pay nothing less than 100k monthly. For a cleaner, you'll pay nothing less than 50k monthly. For a nanny, you'll pay nothing less than 100k monthly. If she doesn't carry pregnancy and you decide to pay for gestational surrogacy, you'll spend nothing less than 50M naira for each child you want to have. So, how is she a liability? Take mic 🎤 Above all, love God.

Whoever considers terorrists as his or her brothers or claims that they are should be treated as one of them. Leaders of the Yorùbá community must be vigilant. Governors in Yorùbá land must do more to secure the land and prevent this evil from permeating our region. Every individual in the Yorùbá region must be very vigilant and alert. While we ask government to do their duties, we must also make sincere efforts to protect ourselves.

Who will defend our land, culture and traditions if kings keep mute? Is it politicians who think about their pocket first, or clerics who are now tools for those with expansionist agendas? Or Scholars who fear for their life? This is my duty till I pass on to meet my ancestors.

Does UAE pose a threat to Iran? Does Kuwait pose a threat to Iran? Does Saudi Arabia pose a threat to Iran? Does Bahrain pose a threat to Iran? Does Qatar pose a threat to Iran? Why then did Iran bombed them with missiles? Did you sympathise with those nations for being bombed without provocations? Your hypocrisy isn't new to me. You oppose anyone that stands with the Nigerian Christians on genocide by your kinsmen. Your hatred for Trump and America is simply because of their strong resolve to help tackle Christian genocide and terrorism in Nigeria. You'd later write about how you fought for democracy, only to be dining with those that are murdering democracy in Nigeria. Nonsense!
Senator Shehu Sani@ShehuSani

The Nation of Iran doesn’t pose a threat or danger to the US.The act of aggression is unnecessary and unfortunate.Unilateral actions based on military might that circumvent the UN and violate international law sets the world on a dangerous path. Most of those supporting, encouraging and cheering wars are people whose children, wives or parents lives far from the theatre of war.If you can drop off your kids in school this morning,go to work or school or open your shop this morning without thanking your God,you don’t know what wars or peace means.War is not a Play Station or Nintendo game.

@KabiesiOlukosi @IdrisAOni1 I will really be surprised if he gives you audience. You have to be human first to understand it's not about religion, it's an injustice done. You overpowered someone and called him to negotiate his freedom, in the middle of negotiations you killed him and over 50 children

HRM Oba Omotooyosi Bayo M.Akinleye
I invite my brother, Alfa @IdrisAOni1, to engage with this historical point and offer a counter‑argument if he believes otherwise. In classical Islam, religious authority has always been decentralised. Scholars across regions interpreted the Qur’an and Sunnah through diverse jurisprudential traditions, and communities drew guidance from respected teachers rather than any single throne, tribe, or political dynasty. Today, however, the situation in parts of Nigeria reflects a different reality. What many people practise is not the broad Sunni tradition inherited from earlier generations, but rather a modern reformist ideology known as Wahhabism. Over time, I have received threats from individuals who identify with hard‑line interpretations associated with Wahhabi thought. These reactions often come from a belief that any critique of Wahhabism is a critique of Islam itself. That is not the case. My concern is not with Muslims—Islam is deep, diverse, and older than these reformist movements—but with an ideology that entered our region far later and often misrepresents itself as the sole “authentic” Islam. Our forefathers were Muslims long before the rise of Wahhabism. They followed the Maliki school of jurisprudence, a tradition rooted in the practice of the early Muslim community in Medina and guided by principles of public welfare and moderation. This remains the foundation of Islamic scholarship in much of southern Nigeria today. By contrast, Wahhabism traces its origins to the 18th‑century partnership between Muhammad ibn Abd al‑Wahhab, a strict Hanbali scholar, and Muhammad ibn Saud, a regional ruler in central Arabia. Their alliance created a political‑religious project aimed at consolidating power, expanding territorial control, and enforcing a narrow interpretation of Islamic teachings. This ideology later shaped the modern Saudi state and continues to influence certain communities abroad. It is important to remember that Islam is not the property of any dynasty or movement. It is a global faith grounded in revelation, reason, and centuries of scholarly diversity. The Prophet’s community did not centralise religious authority in a single family or political institution, nor did it erase the legitimate variations that emerged across the Muslim world. My intention is simple: to call for an honest, historically grounded conversation about what we practise today, where it comes from, and how it aligns with the rich Islamic heritage that preceded it. Debate is part of our intellectual tradition, and we strengthen our community when we engage with knowledge, not intimidation.
1khalifa@khalifaoyin

@AdekemiAnn123 @KabiesiOlukosi i guess it's all about religious hatred and nothing more then. at least we can see how tough Yorùbá unity will be if an acclaimed King can back this backwardness fuelled by religious hate and bigotry too. we'll continue to do our own bit though. stay blessed too ma.
