حزب الله يسوّق عبر إعلامه لفكرة أن لدينا مشكلة مع الطائفة الشيعية، وهذا غير صحيح إطلاقًا. مشكلتنا ليست مع أهلنا الشيعة، بل مع مشروع حزب الله وسلاحه وسياساته التي جرّت لبنان إلى حروب ودمار لا يشبهان شعبنا ولا أحلام اللبنانيين. وقد حرصنا دائمًا على دعوة النواب الشيعة وممثلي حركة أمل إلى كل المؤتمرات واللقاءات التي عقدناها، لأننا نؤمن أن لبنان لا يُبنى إلا بكل مكوّناته، وبالشراكة بين جميع أبنائه دون استثناء. صحيح أن حزب الله هو من أدخلنا في حرب دمّرت الجنوب ومناطق لبنانية أخرى، لكن مسؤولية إعادة بناء الوطن تقع علينا جميعًا كلبنانيين. فلا يمكن أن نترك أهل الجنوب وحدهم يواجهون آثار الدمار والتهجير والخسارة. لدينا مشروع حقيقي لإعادة إحياء المناطق المدمرة وإعمار الجنوب، وإعادة الأمل وفرص العمل والحياة الاقتصادية والسياحية إلى لبنان. مشروع يعيد للناس بيوتهم وكرامتهم وشعورهم بالأمان، على أن يتم ذلك بقرار وإشراف من الدولة اللبنانية، وضمن اتفاق إقليمي يحمي سيادة لبنان ويُبعده عن حروب الآخرين وصراعاتهم. فلبنان يستحق أن يعيش بسلام واستقرار، وأهل الجنوب يستحقون أن يعودوا إلى بيوتهم بكرامة وأمان، وأن يعيش أولادهم مستقبلًا لا تحكمه الحروب بل الأمل والحياة.
