REP-2018-1386: NOC Employment Requirements Q: Are Canadian licences or certifications required for Express Entry (FSW)? No. Applicants should not be refused for not meeting Canadian licensing requirements at the time of application. Q: What must officers assess instead? Whether the applicant is capable of performing the job and likely to meet licensing requirements after arriving in Canada. Q: What factors are considered? Education, training, background, and prior work experience. Q: What is required for work experience under IRPR? • Performance of the NOC lead statement (R75(2)(b)) • A substantial number of main duties, including essential duties (R75(2)(c)) Q: Do NOC “employment requirements” need to be met? No. These are not required at the application stage. Q: What if concerns arise about job ability? Officers should communicate concerns and provide an opportunity to respond. #ExpressEntry #CanadaImmigration

If you are your friend has receieved PGWP refusal due to IELTS not being submitted, please submit a strong reconsideration request + also submit a reapplication with restoration pleading compassionate grounds. Owing to recent media coverage, it is know understood that IRCC who was earlier very strict and was not accepting reconsiderations in such cases are now more lenient and are considering and approving on reconsideration. So please do not lose hope in such cases and also let your other friends know, if they are in this situation. p.s: Do also involve your local area MP, after submitting a request for reconsideration.

⚠️ IRCC data helps explain why we’ve seen such large French category draws in 2025: 📉 FSW Francophone approval rates dropped from 92–94% (early 2024) to just 74–75% recently. For 🇨🇲 Cameroon, approvals fell 22% since Sept 2024 (68% in Feb 2025). 🇨🇲 Despite making up only 3.5% of the EE pool, Cameroon accounts for 50% of French-points candidates and 52% of Francophone admissions (both CEC and FSW). 👉 Lower approval rates + over-reliance on one source country means IRCC must issue more ITAs to meet the 8.5% Francophone admissions target. #cdnimm #ExpressEntry #CanadaPR #CanadaVisa #CanadaImmigration

From past IRCC internal emails 📩- not all remote work counts toward PR. Example: Remote work for a foreign employer while in Canada may now be eligible under CEC, but it depends on the case. Other scenarios, like working for a Canadian employer while abroad, can make you ineligible for CEC. ✅ Bottom line: Remote work can be tricky for PR, know the rules before you claim it. #ExpressEntry #CanadaImmigration #CEC2025 #cdnimm #CanadaVisa #PGWP #WorkPermit

@MannyLidher So if a person claim points of that remote work which you mentioned is eligible in FSW and we want to apply for PR under the CEC draw as a candidate also have the canadian exp. Can he do that in a CEC invitation? @MannyLidher

@MannyLidher @MannyLidher what if they send around 2500 invites then what will be your expectation for the trade cut off?

📊 Express Entry – Trades Category With limited Federal Economic Priorities allocations left for 2025, the next trades category draw could see the CRS cut-off hit 475–480+. A major factor is the large number of cooks (NOC 63200) in the pool- 2,235 above CRS 450, including 1,280 in the 451–475 range (April data). Their inclusion, along with other trades NOCs, means a small draw of 500–1,000 ITAs could push the cut off higher. #ExpressEntry #CanadaImmigration #TradesDraw #CEC #CEC2025 #CanadaPR #cdnimm #IRCC #CanadaVisa

@KanwarSierah There are many other factors too to be looked upon. People are getting COQs by studying hard to get that extra 50 points.

@KanwarSierah @KanwarSierah You’ve always wanted to be in the spotlight, and you made a big deal about removing those LMIA points. But look at what actually happened—out of 250,000 candidates in the pool, only around 35,000 had an LMIA, and very minimal candidates with scores above 490.

𝗢𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝘆 — the masterminds who coached fake remote foreign work to offset LMIA point loss under Express Entry are now shocked that CRS 500+ profiles are flooding the pool. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼𝘀, but sure… let’s act surprised. Balle thode. 🧠💥
