This is a combat-sports themed series — a boxer and a media guy — of course the poster is going to lean into strength, sweat, and physicality. Acting like shirtless athletes automatically equals “for het women only” is such a shallow take. And let’s not pretend lesbians are a single hive mind with one approved aesthetic. Some like soft intimacy, some like masc energy, some like both. Your opinion isn’t the universal rulebook for sapphic media consumption. Also, calling it “Magic Mike oiling” while the promo is literally presenting an MMA fighter is funny because athletes looking sweaty is… normal. That’s the concept. Not everything revolves around fitting fandom discourse buzzwords.
