@zombiemanjay You look at Topuria, Sean Strickland, or an Izzy (who although an an excellent kicker, his stoppages come from hands) it’s been shown that a boxers style translates better to mma than jj. Learning takedown/submission defense is easier than becoming an efficient striker.

Jiu jitsu athletes are infinitely more delusional in their ability to beat an mma fighter compared to boxers. Mikey’s style of jiu jitsu literally doesn’t translate to mma all considering that this dude literally can’t takedown jiu jitsu guys who can’t wrestle.

@dpmlol This is multi-faceted for sure. Lower-elo players play longer games because they don't know how to end the game properly, fight a lot more throughout the course of the game, and often poorly aim skillshots compared to higher-elo players.
