@wingod @67Designs @AZ_SMB @realDonaldTrump Hi Dennis. We keep plenty of 6061 alloy billet in stock and the T6 temper is no problem for us. We also have 6005A-T61 and 6063–T6.

As a small US manufacturer, 80% of my COGS are imported aluminum components, which have just gone up 25% due to tariffs. Any other SMBTwit folks in the same boat? Want to start a brainstorm/strategy group to figure out how best to navigate? DM/reply if so.

@67Designs @AZ_SMB @realDonaldTrump I would love to help anybody needing US Aluminum Extrusions. I run an aluminum extrusion plant in Texas, Republic Extrusions, and we use US billet. We also do CNC machining, punching, and finishing right here in Texas.

Yes if you need extrusion. One of the best around is Republic Extrusions in Megargel, TX. Contact the CEO Todd Lewallen. The also do CNC post processing. Good people. Good product. Good service. If this isn’t the poster-child example of @realDonaldTrump mission and how 25% tariffs can ignite reshoring and get the Megargel plant pushing more billets, not sure what that would be. Good luck.
