I genuinely can’t believe some Manchester United fans are criticising Benjamin Sesko’s physique. Is there anything this fanbase won’t negatively criticise? He’s a striker. Yes, he needs to be mobile, but he also needs the strength to compete in the Premier League. Playing against physical centre backs week in week out means he needs to be able to hold the ball up, win duels, and dominate aerially and physically. That’s a huge part of what being a premier league striker entails. It’s not even as if he’s dramatically changed in size he’s likely just added a little muscle mass, which will benefit his game far more than it will hinder it. Criticising the body of a professional athlete without any expertise in sports science or nutrition just doesn’t make much sense. Sesko looks good and with a much better knowledge of his body and role he’ll have a much better season. #mufc
