Today I was prevented by @police from observing hearings at special trial at bar (open court) on #EasterAttacks. Police said its on order of judges, but refused to show such an order. Also said media can only cover if they posses a "media ID" & that national ID is not sufficient

The far-right political party (TNPF) assumes the whole world is as racist as they are. Contrary to their portrayal, not all Tamils are racist. Irrespective of ethnicity, we are all human. There is nothing wrong with paying tribute to the Sinhalese naval personnel who sacrificed their lives to save Tamils during the flood disaster. This is a sentiment shared by many in the North. The banner is not wrong; it speaks of humanity, not grudges. Welcome to Earth. You have much to learn.
