@UC_Assist I chose Urban Company for the service excellence. Rescheduling at the last minute without even notifying is not good service. This has made me lose faith in the brand. Please don't advertise 2 day installation, if you can't honour it

Hi Uttam, thank you for reaching out to us. We understand how disappointing the rescheduling has been for the Native RO installation service and we apologize that the support was not seamless. Please be assured that we are addressing this concern with utmost priority and will ensure proper resolution at the earliest.

@urbancompany_UC I had ordered your Native purifier last week. Though it was delivered the same day, the installation has been rescheduled twice without notice. I have changed my work hours. your times twice. Your bot chat doesn't even allow to me to speak to a person.

@kamatanay When you choose someone in an interview, you are making a bet that they will fit. For experienced folks it’s easier to make that bet. For fresh grads it is hard, especially at the scale of Infy.

If the candidates are given offer after following the hiring process and yet they fail internal assessments, then there is something wrong with hiring process. If driver does not know how to drive, then we don’t punish the passengers right?

@sde_ray Infy gave them 3 attempts to pass internal assessments…still they failed..what options management has…? Bouncers were a bad idea but u never know…this news might have been exaggerated!

There is no way I can forget this game. It’s the game which captured my curiosity and motivated me to learn programming just so that I could build a game like this myself in 6th standard.

Who remembers this moment in Prince of Persia (1989) where a magic mirror suddenly blocks the hero's path (and what happens afterward)? This moment was actually never planned to be in the game. My original vision was a game with lots of traps, but NO enemies... (1/10)

@tanayseven @kamatanay I can’t disagree that npm has major problems. It makes the argument stronger. Npm is successful despite issues because a critical mass of people have adopted it. Switching stacks is hard

Any language can make developers unhappy when it's used outside the purpose it was designed for. When compared to C/Java/Ruby python is easier, but as of today it's neither simplest nor easiest language to have.
Armin Ronacher ⇌@mitsuhiko

Personally I see a lot of opportunity in this. Python has a huge user base. If we were to fix some of our shortcomings more, we would leave behind much happier developers. It can be done. Case in point: PHP today vs 15 years ago. x.com/mitsuhiko/stat…

@rapidobikeapp a can driver told me that if you want clean and sir conditioned cabs use uber. Why are you onboarding with a such a low stance. Do you want to position as a poor service?
