Webinar on Ending Plastic Pollution: From Awareness to Action On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, we bring together voices from science, policy, and civil society to discuss the urgent challenge of plastic pollution and how each of us can be part of the solution.

Stretches covered:- Nalapani Bridge; Canal Road Bridge, Dhoran; Rispana Bridge, Raipur Road; IT Park, Sahastradhara; Truffalgarh-Canal Road Bridge; Deep Nagar-1, Rispana; Lower Adhoiwala; Shikhar Fall; Rispana Bridge, Haridwar Road Total Waste Collection:- 2075 Kgs.

Volunteers- UKPCB Officials; EcoGroup Team; UBT Team; NCC Cadets; Children of Rispana Stretches; different School Students and General public. The activities were organized at the stretches of River Rispana. Total 09 drives were carried from Dated 31.05.2024 to 09.06.2024.

Day- 8 Uttarakhand PCB, EIACP, Dehradun along with @EcogroupD Society organized cleanliness and awareness drive at Shikhar Fall (inception point of river Rispana) on 8th day of ongoing drive "Revival of Rispana River". Total Waste Collected:- 65 Kgs. #WorldEnvironmentDay2024

The cleanliness drive included awareness by Eco Group Team amongst all residents of area. NCC Girl Cadets from DBS college participated in the drive as volunteers. Regional Office- UKPCB and UBT Foundation Team also participated in the drive. #ProPlanetPeople #SaveEarthSaveNature

300kg of waste was collected, single use plastic, Multi layered plastic and tetrapak in majority. The activity included conversation with tourists with engagement of interactive activities with Q&A about waste segregation and it's disposal. #saynotosingleuseplastic #MissionLiFE

Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board, EIACP along with Waste Warriors Society conducted a clean-up drive near Santura Devi Temple located on the NH towards Yamunotri, Mussoorie with the participation of 30 people from of police department, Shopkeepers, market association.

अभियान में उत्तराखंड प्रदूषण बोर्ड, ईकोग्रुप सोसाइटी और यूबीटी संस्था के सदस्यों ने भी प्रतिभाग किया। इसके बाद चले सघन अभियान में करीब 95 किलो मिश्रित वेस्ट को निस्तारण के लिए भेजा गया। #WorldEnvironmentDay2024 #ProPlanetPeople #SaveEarth #MissionLiFE #saynotosingleuseplastic

दिन- 4 उत्तराखंड प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड (ईआईएसीपी) एवम ईकोग्रुप सोसाइटी द्वारा रिस्पना पुनर्जीवन के लिए दस दिनों का संयुक्त रूप से स्वच्छता और जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जा रहा है जिसके अंतर्गत आज दिनांक 03.06.2024 सोमवार को यह कार्यक्रम रिस्पना नदी, निकट आइटीपार्क में चलाया गया l

Day-5 World Environment Day, 2024 Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board, EIACP, Dehradun along with with Eco Group Society celebrated WED by organizing cleanliness drive and awarding the participants/volunteers during celebrations with certificates under "Revival of Rispana River"

The activity was organized at banks of River Rispana at Sahastradhara, RO- UKPCB, UBT Foundation and Himalayan Paryavaran Consultants Team also participated in celebration. Cloth bags were distributed to all the participants with a message to stop usage of single use plastic.

The cleanliness drive included awareness by EcoGroup Team amongst all volunteers and a brief session on making eco bricks with the help of plastic bottle & plastic wrappers. All school going children with full of energy and dedication to save environment participated in the drive
