Writing this as a last resort before I go back to working a normal job again Crypto gave me the opportunity to quit those for 3 years, and I ran my port up to 7 figs before missing $trump, topblasting $vine and eventually revenge trading my way to zero I know I still have it in me to get to 7 figs. I have learnt a lot specifically about greed and how it still affects your trading even after you lost your size. Wanting to make it all back so quick you dont even let your trades play out. I’m not here to beg, but I want to earn a few sol/bnb to start over again by working for it. I’m very good in editing (some might remember me from mask/usedcar) and can make fire pnl edits (instead of the usual pnl cards) Or if you know someone that needs a meme editor, let me know. Ill link some of my previous content in the comments below. Im sure it will bring back some notalgia feelings for some Thanks for reading and I’d appreciate any support on this post a lot ❤️

@SalvinoArmati @pchopra28 That is the unfortunate truth. Although your team built one of the best products we've seen. Pasternak showed it's possible for people to rally around a great team if they iterate.

@SalvinoArmati @yapsterxyz Yapster was epic. Still looking for another product that comes close. Are you working on anything as of now?

Friends, there's no easy way to say this. After 300+ days of iteration, we've decided to sunset Yapster and begin again. To some of our most devout believers, I know this is not what you wanted to hear. And I'm sorry. To everyone that played: Thank you. We never took your time, energy, or belief for granted. Here's some context around what led to this decision: Over the last few months, we rebuilt the Yapster app from the ground up. We set out to create the best possible version of the product. One where all the friction points and all the possible confounding variables are gone. The goal was simple: give the core idea the best possible shot. (aka create a launchpad for memes that has the best possible chances of generating runner in a fun and fair way). For a while, it was plausible that the product wasn’t working because of specifics. Maybe the memes that were winning aren't actually what players wanted? Maybe there was too much cheating? Maybe token delivery was too slow? Maybe the free-to-play dynamics were attracting the wrong users? Maybe we just need to maximize token visibility by launching on pump? These were concrete, fixable problems, and we addressed every single of them. When you remove every variable you thought might be breaking the system, and it still doesn't work, you're left with a different kind of question. Is there something structurally wrong with the idea that requires a larger reset? That's ultimately where we landed. You might feel otherwise, but I want you to know the whole team gave this everything we had. Over the last ~6 months, we shipped countless iterations. I personally gave away a 6-figure ($200k+) airdrop. We've worked 80h/week for months. We left no stone unturned. Thank you to everyone who believed, played, yapped, and built alongside us. We’re endlessly grateful.

@_nonlinear pure chance gambling is just -ev entertainment whereas skill-based games can actually be mastered (which is a reason to take the game seriously)

working theory: the conclusion that all memecoin trading is a “slot machine” is one of CTs laziest mischaracterizations, equivalent to those that dismiss poker as a game of pure chance to the untrained eye, poker looks random. so much so that it was lumped in with “gambling”, despite overwhelming evidence that long-term profitability is skill-based the poker world has fought this misclassification for decades the same might be true for attention assets today yes, there’s randomness but skilled participants (those who can read social signals, front-run consensus, and manage risk through narrative cycles) consistently outperform the fact that names like Cupsey / Gake / Cented keep showing up at the top, week after week is more evidence this might be true just like WSOP. thousands enter, and variance is high and yet, phil ivey, bonomo, and negreanu keep making final tables is that a slot machine? or is it edge?

@letscook_sol It looked like all the tokens were eth. Are sol coins able to launch? Let me know if you have a post that explains the platform. Would love to check it out.
